Every passenger became a work of art. We had international photographer Steven Laxton take more than 80 portraits of Transperth passengers over six days. We then turned Perth’s trains and underground station into a giant portrait gallery, displaying striking images of passengers accompanied by plaques that revealed a snapshot of their lives, character and personality. We represented people and their stories with honesty and integrity, encouraging Transperth users to appreciate the diversity around them and to have understanding for their fellow travellers
