THE XTREME DELIVERY - Nissan fuels the hungry Xtremers, where ever they are. ● What’s Xtreme Delivery? ""Xtreme Delivery"" is a unique service that delivered fresh hot pizzas to extreme locations that only NISSAN X-TRAIL would dare go to. It's a new form of outdoor media disguised under a food delivery service. ● How did it work? 1. Set up wireless phone booths in popular outdoor sports sites across Japan for people to place their pizza orders. (approx. in 100 famous locations including mt.fuji, yamanaka-lake etc.) 2. As soon as an order is placed, pizzas are prepared at the nearest kitchen facility. 3. X-TRAIL with the Xtreme delivery crew go off to deliver pizzas to the requested location. 4. Capture the entire delivery story on film. 5. The news spread it on TV and online media. 6. Those who heard about the news rushed to the most remote areas to try the pizza delivery service for themselves. This service took place between Nov 2014 and March 2015. It's now being prepared to be extended through 2015. ● Why Xtreme Delivery? 1. A great way to enter the targets' hearts through their stomachs. The target audience is outdoor sports enthusiasts such as snowboarders, climbers and mountaineers. They were always craving for a savory meal to accompany their outdoor activiites. Xtreme Delivery successfully entered the target's hearts through their stomachs. ● The ideal off-road performance demonstration Delivering pizzas to places once believed to be impossible, Xtreme Delivery leveraged X-TRAIL's off-road performance to its fullest.
