Red Cross FoodAid is an initiative that provides meals to children from economically disadvantaged families. We wanted to convey to potential donors how special a normal meal is to children like these. So we portrayed those children in fairy tales, which were based on nothing more than them being able to eat a nutritious meal. The main take out for listeners was that to a hungry child, a normal meal is a fairy tale. So by donating to Red Cross FoodAid, perhaps donors could feel like they were truly making a hungry child’s fairy tale come true.
