NZTA needed a means to communicate their critical message of road safety to a younger more relevant audience, and thus utilized the nascent technology of SnapChat. After befriending the account ‘TinnyVision’ on the SnapChat application, the viewer was delivered short episodes telling the story of a group of friends getting stoned, saying stupid shit just because they were so high, getting the munchies, driving to get burgers and being shockingly confronted with their impaired driving skills.
