In the ‘Words kill Wars’ concept Adot.com seeks to open our eyes to the fact that wars are futile and that weapons of destruction resolve nothing. It is dialogue between enemies that really resolves tense issues and avoids escalation. In this simple commercial we manipulate and pair up simple imagery of deadly weapons with symbols of dialogue to drive our point home. A gun becomes a megaphone, a missile becomes a pencil, a bomb becomes a microphone etc.
The entire commercial was CG generated to achieve the seamless transition between scenes. It started with a wire frame construction and the texture and modeling applied later based on real weapons sourced by the effects team.
