A new Australian ad depicts skateboarders making Visa PayWave purchases while skating in the bowl. During the course of the 60-second TVC, various people (even a guy in a suit) are shown making payments, mid trick, for coffee, pizzas and tacos at an ad-hoc take-away store.
We replaced just about every pixel of the background with a full cg environment designed and built by the CG team. We created an endless Skate World for the Visa PayWave TVC depicting skateboarders making purchases mid trick, for coffee, pizzas and tacos. Shot on locationin a Sydney Skate park without any greenscreen - We were responsible for designing and building the cg shopfronts and then integrating that with the live action skaters. In doing that they rotoed (cut out) about 2500 frames of skateboard action. The spot was finished in 2 weeks.
