Brief Explanation

English Synopsis/Background Information In an Asian city. Glaring hot sun. A man uses a big brush to draw on the pavement using water. We are in the middle of it all: in the bucket of water, on the brush, close on the ground, right in the artist's face. Dynamic. Fast. And with a modenr Asian soundtrack. Only: what is he drawign - and why? This film builds up suspense in the most beautiful way. Finally we see: he has drawn a beautiful eye. In the hot sun it starts to dry away fast. And the simple copy line explains what this is all about: Do not let your eyes go dry. Use Eye Mo.

Creative Execution

We composed and recorded an original score to enhance the drama and pace of the film. Combined with subtle sound design, the track is used to build suspense but also to underscore the Asian cultural heritage of water calligraphy. Use of traditional Asian instrumentation together with modern scoring and sound techniques were applied to bridge the culture with the modern topic being portrayed in the film and to give the edit additional punch.
