Creative Execution

Employing the latest in motion-sensing innovation, we introduced the use of Kinect interactive technology, and created a virtual showcase of the cars right in the showroom. Through the virtual platform, walk-in customers are able to explore and learn about the car’s features using various hand gestures, like forming a pair of binoculars with their hand to zoom in and out of the car. Toggle between the different colours. Or to interact with a 360° view of the car. They can also snap and share a photo of their new virtual ride on Facebook.

The installation not only increased awareness amongst customers, it actually generated considerable product interest, with a high number of enquiries about both the car, and the launch activity itself. Building on the success of the launch, the idea extended for two further sessions, eventually evolving into a digital sales kit, one that takes the car – and the brand – beyond the showroom. And thanks to the photo-taking and -sharing function, marketing efforts were easily brought into the social media space, attracting more to discover the car for themselves at the showrooms.

To launch their latest Jazz and City models, Honda needed an engaging on-ground activation to create buzz and awareness in their showroom. So customers who walk in as ready buyers feel even more compelled to drive away with a new car. But we wanted to create more than just an advertising activation. We wanted to create a brand new experience for the user. One that’s unique in its innovation, yet informative and intuitive for the user. So they may offer users greater insights into the car, helping them make an informed decision in a fun, interactive and engaging manner. Our solution? A Kinetic-powered virtual experience.
