Through research into industry trends, we deduced the strengthening of the US Dollar versus the Indian Rupee in the coming quarter. Based on this information, we drew up a plan for a promotional offer. Users would get 36 Paise extra on every Dollar for the first 3 Remittance Transactions. A custom code was designed to guide potential users into registering for Remit2India’s services. This code would dynamically update Landing Pages & Ad-Copies with Real-Time Currency Exchange Rates. Geo based targeting would ensure that the right Landing Page & Ad Copy was served up to a user depending on his/her location.
Through our out-of-the-box efforts, we had managed to help Remit2India achieve the highest number of Registrations in a month (June) since the beginning of their Search Campaign in 2005. What’s more, we achieved this remarkable feat while keeping the Cost per Registration in check at just 6% higher than before! In addition, our Dynamic Exchange Rate bearing Ads drove this advantage even further, by garnering a 27% share in the Total Number of Clicks for the US Region, while the industry average languished in the distance at 13%.
The registrations for remittance were directly linked to exchange rates and it was a highly competitive market out there. The key therefore, was to drive better value for customers, through exchange rates that exceeded those offered by the competition. This would serve to drum up interest and create a buzz about Remit2India’s services. Apart from promotional offers, technology was harnessed to take the user experience to the next level. Real-time exchange rates would dynamically be updated on Ad Copies, based on the user’s location. On clicking the ad, the user would be redirected to the relevant Landing Page where the purchase could be made for the same amount. The complete experience would go a long way to make Remit2India the preferred remittance option.
