Creative Execution

Apart from regular content development and management primarily on Facebook and Twitter, every single user query on the page was tracked and managed. An FAQ document, updated constantly, was created with the common queries. End-to-end contest management over multiple channels was provided by WS Group, including terms of use, user journey, setup, graphics design to assistance in winner selection. Web monitoring was done with third-party tools, and the client made aware of social sentiments daily. The event was covered liv, with photos, on Twitter by the onsite team, who also interviewed participants to generate exclusive content for social channels.

In three months, the number of fans on the Facebook page increased by 10%. More than a thousand fans participated in the social media contests, and over 40 thousand images were posted on Instagram with the official event hashtag. Three separate trending topics on the event date all related to the event. Over the course of the campaign, more than 2500 messages, comments and Facebook posts were made addressed to the page, all of which were managed according to he best practices in the industry. As a G2C (Government to Citizen) initiative #NDP2014 was well received.

National Day Parade needs no introduction. However, an engaged community of over 80,000 + does need extensive management, content inputs and engagement strategy. WS Group was selected as the first official agency to manage NDP FB page (and other social media presence) as well as to manage various social media initiatives that ran in conjunction with multiple government agencies. New social media channels on Instagram were activated; timely responses to the community, integration with multiple committees and live coverage from the venue were all part of the project. WS Group team is proud to be associated with such an amazing event. An increase in organic fan count of 10%, 40k Instagram pics and top 3 trending topics in Singapore on Twitter on 9th August 2014, the NDP2014 social media initiative was a success.
