Chocoland, the 8th continent was essentially a platform to demystify food and present the same in a format that kids enjoy the most - fun! Citizenship of the 8th continent, exciting games with Coco, a uniquely cool lingo to communicate in, and a cooler attitude lay in store. Even better, they could compete with their friends and win exciting merchandise. Engagements also weaved in the product advantages subtly.
Within few months’ time the website got 60000 + registrations with an average time spent of 8 minutes per visit. The User per session consumed on an average 7+ pages which brought in a whooping 25 lakh + page views.
For a kid’s brand, the consumer and customer are different entities. While nutrition-centric communication won us the mothers’ attention, kids expected a little fun. Coco, the brand mascot too embodied the same principle. What was lacking, however, was a platform where kids could hang out with Coco, and share his world. A world that would be a treat to the senses, and needless to say, the palate. And thus was born Chocoland.
