Rebel Sport is the largest sporting retailer in New Zealand and has the most extensive range of sporting equipment and clothing, along with the best brands at the best value. Increasingly, however, Rebel Sport found itself under greater market pressure from a string of competitors, both bricks and mortar retailers and online stores. It was vital that Rebel Sport re-ignited its sports credentials and put a campaign to market that sparked conversation around the brand to re-engage with our sports-mad audience. Sport is all about passion and at Rebel Sport this passion brings us knowledge about sport well beyond the average person. The campaign uncovered a little known fact about 100 metre sprinting. Through the eyes of New Zealand national athlete Abiola Beckley, we enter the world of an elite athlete and discover one simple and fascinating truth: he is actually airborne for 88 of the 100 metres he sprints.
