As a bank for young adults (19 to 29 yr-olds), Mach by Hong Leong Bank realised that this group was going deeper into debt. And with credit cards at their fingertips, it’s easy for young adults to spend money they didn’t have. So how can we kick-start a savings habit with this bunch that’s so used to their spending ways? And how to keep them motivated over the long haul?
Mach by Hong Leong Bank wanted to inspire and motivate young adults to start saving again.
The Dream Pixel Calendar motivates saving every day by revealing items they love to shop for at the end of every month - for example; shoes, gadgets, handbags and etc. This helps to show what their savings could represent, keeping them inspired to save over a 12-month period.
News of the calendar generated great interest and curiosity across all branches. Demand for the calendar was high as it quickly ran out after its first printing. Leaving many more still waiting for the next shipment to arrive.
