The Brief

Washing dishes has always been a chore. All that scrubbing and scouring of sticky grease that just won’t quit! Sunlight wanted to make washing a more fun experience. Because it has the power of 100 lemons in every drop, it can easily cut through any grease.

Describe how the promotion developed from concept to implementation

To make washing dishes a fun and enjoyable experience, we created the Sunlight squirt gun. Instead of just the usual dispenser, we created a toy that anyone could use. You simply have to point, aim and shoot the grease! We made the guns available at supermarkets and these got a very positive feedback from our consumers.

Describe the success of the promotion with both client and consumer including some quantifiable results

The project only ran recently and we are still in the process of collecting results received form the effort.

Explain why the method of promotion was most relevant to the product or service

No one likes washing dishes because they’re such a chore to do. We wanted to change that cumbersome experience and make it more fun for them. Instead of making it a chore, we turned it into a game. Sunlight Liquid acted as the “bullets” that could cut through the stickiest grease, and we were able to turn a boring chore into loads of fun!
