・Objective "Festival hall" is famous for beloved musical concert hall by many artists all over the world for half a century. People who loves music had been expecting of the re-opening this building, and finally finished the construction after years. we had a celebration event for the renewal of this place by the campaign that is called “Festival!”
. creative solution This concert hall comprises ideal sound facilities so that it is said “Music falls from a ceiling”music falls from a ceiling"※, it is praised by musicians of the world. In addition, the building is located in the place that can overlook the view of the Osaka highest peak. We planned the best concept for the Christmas season campaign by using the important elements that is ideal sound facilities so that it is said “Music falls from a ceiling” and also “Splendid view from this building”. The “Projection Mapping” was the best solution to make it.
・results From 14 to 25 on December in 2012, visitors of the waiting overflowed every day more than one hour and reached the large prosperity of 12,741 number of the viewers during a holding period of 12 days. Furthermore, it was taken up topics with TV programs, newspaper articles and a large number of blog. The purpose of the creation of the topics and the expectations for this renewed music hall was accomplished.
・creative execution A huge glass window of 10 meters in height showing a real night view was used as screen for projection mapping. ( The window was used as screen by 15 meters in width 4 meters in height.) With three projectors, the picture of the night view of Osaka city was reflected to synchronize with a true night view. The motif only in this music hall including "notes, scores, ballerinas" was symbolized by light and color, the whole screen was filled in fantastic.
