Brief Explanation

Cannes Best Director Brillante Ma Mendoza's latest film, Thy Womb, is a story about the Badjao, a seafaring Muslim community who struggles to live in peace amid tribal conflict and the sea. In Catholic Philippines, there is still prejudice against the Muslims. To promote Thy Womb, we launched a web film that features an actual outtake of a Muslim child being delivered by actress superstar Nora Aunor, and released it on Christmas eve, the night before the biggest Catholic celebration of the year.
