The film shows how kids who grow up in foreign countries do not know much about the culture and traditions followed back at home. How they are unaware of the little rituals and how they misinterpret them in their own ways, much to the dismay of the parents. Making the parents wish if only they had taken the kids home more often. For instance, a Bindi is a forehead decoration of worn religious significance by women in India. A red coloured Bindi in particular, signifies that the wearer is a married woman. In the film the kid mistakes his mother’s Bindi for something trivial as he doesn’t know its cultural significance.
