We begin our story in early colonial New Zealand as our narrator describes a time when the name you were born with also defined your job. This notion is common throughout a number of cultures, where a family name was derived from the occupation a family undertook - i.e. Smiths were once blacksmiths. We use this to establish a world where one has little choice as far as a job is concerned. We then shift forward to present day, where with Trade Me Jobs there are Opportunities Galore, so you can do whatever you want to do.
