Online videos are key to SMU’s admissions campaign success. In 2013, collectively, SMU’s videos generated a total of 1.4M views, the highest of any local university. This video presents Yujian’s expedition to Nepal where he muses about the importance of team work and challenging his limits. In addition, the global exposure Yujian experienced at SMU broadened his perspective and taught him to appreciate what life has to offer. This video generated 86,700 views on Youtube with viewers watching the video for an average time of 1 minute or at an 80% completion rate, more than tripling equivalent videos from universities in the region.
