V Energy gave a team of programmers, audio engineers and a music producer a challenge – to create a piece of music using only the body’s movement. The V Motion Project was born. The team hacked Microsoft's Kinect motion tracking software with audio software Abelton, to create an instrument that transforms the body's movement into sounds. The V Motion Project showcased its technology with a live performance in Auckland. The event was covered live on TV and radio. The content was filmed to create TVC’s, digital content and a music video. The music track was released on iTunes as a single.
