Australian telco, Belong, saw the iPhone 13 announcement as a chance to generate awareness and get SIMs into phones. So, we solved a problem everyone was about to experience. Phone limbo. That sudden period of disconnection that happens while your data transfers between devices. The Book of Limbo is an offline online wormhole, designed to entertain those stranded between phones. It channels the wonder of the internet into 120 pages of original art. Just like a real internet wormhole, each page links to the next –spanning whale poop facts, royal conspiracies and even the entirety of Alice in Wonderland. All ending with a free $80 Belong SIM card, designed to help you explore real internet wormholes when your phone’s ready. All the materials are sustainable, locally sourced, and the production carbon offset. The campaign earned 23+ million impressions, a 400% uplift in site traffic and a +50% Belong purchase intent.
