There is nothing simple about driving through the remote, dry outback of Australia. The road conditions are dangerous and can change on an almost daily basis. Our film sees the Lone Rider driving across the harsh landscape through differing climates; unpredictable storms, relentless flies, scorching heat and did we mention the flies? You need an unwavering strength to be able to take on those infamous conditions.

We married epic visuals of the harsh terrain with more intimate moments creating a world in which everything feels true to life as possible, albeit totally bizarre. Irreverent but straight-talking, the film is a wild ride that never changes speed. Even though the conversation is meandering, we’re always moving forward. Everything is steered towards this idea of an endless journey, so much so, you begin to question whether our mythical character is even real or just a mirage.
