This radio spot's objective is to encourage Thai people to prepare themselves for upcoming old age, by telling them that old age is coming much faster than they think. What an audience is going to hear in this spot is a voice of a young man (and a young woman in another version) teaching people to prepare themselves before getting old. The twist is that when we keep listening through the spot, we can hear that the voice of both announcers is getting older and older, until the end both announcer becomes an old person. This demonstrates how old age comes sooner than people think and encourage people to start prepare themselves to gets old.
Having your home ready for when you are old is important. From statistics, more than 30% of elderly people slip and fall in their own home. So sooner you prepare your home, the better. Whether installing a handle in your bathroom, Build a home with less stairs, avoid slippery flooring. Because if you don’t prepare these before 40… One day when you get old, you might end up like me, who slipped and fell in my own home. And became a bedridden patient ever since. No matter what I wanted to do, or where I dreamt to go, I just can’t anymore... Old age comes much sooner than you think. Prepare yourself for old age before 40.
