Background

Indonesia, where 2.7 billion people live, has a growing economic market with a 5% annual growth. Adding to the Indonesian's enthusiasm for education, expectations for the Indonesia's future are high. But educational Infrastructure is too poor to meet their needs. Dream is an important role in children's future. Unfortunately, many parents are not aware of this in Indonesia. LOTTE creates corporate social responsibility digital campaign to Draw Children's Dreams in Indonesia together and create opportunities to support them.

Describe the creative idea

People vote to drawings that children drew their dreams. The award-winning work will be displayed on the exterior walls of Lotte Shopping Avenue and will be used as a work.

Describe the strategy

Children below 12 years old drew their dreams. Children upload the drawings to the Lotte Dream website and shared to social media. Over 2,500 masterpieces are uploaded. People gave their vote to children's drawings. After online competition, a total 300 of the the best drawings continued the offline competition. We made the whole story about children's dream and content of 'Lotte Dream Together' by viral-video and spread by digital.

Describe the execution

We made a micro-website which children can upload their drawings and people can vote. Children upload drawings of their dreams to the website. Invite top-ranked participants to the main event in a consumer vote. Proceed an off-line event of dream drawing competition. Display the winner's draw on LOTTE Shopping Avenue where is very famous spot in Jakarta. Invite winner to Korea to experience his/her dream and Make a Viral video of whole story.

- 10,427 Microsite Registration. - 2,560 participated on microsite. - 6,456 vote on microsite. - Covering and reporting articles from 6 Newspaper Company and 5 Online Media Company. - Successful off-line final competition at the Indonesian Education Ministry with 300 participants - Pre-event Viral video make over 2,010,000 views - After-event Viral video make over 10,120,000 views - As a result, we 1)attract their interest of children's education and 2)infuse their dream by drawing into Indonesian children to enlarge their own dream by our corporate social responsibility.
