The Japanese regulations prohibit any expressions that may directly guarantee efficacy of products.

Describe the target audience and why your work is relevant to them.

The target audience is lung cancer specialists who believe that they are tackling challenges to support the 24 hours of the patients as a team. This animation reminds doctors that Eli Lilly has a role to play in the team, with the same passion.

Write a short summary of what happens in the film

Lung cancer attacks a woman’s calm daily life unexpectedly. From the moment of diagnosis, the patient shuts her heart and tears in despair. However, her doctor, her care team, her family and Eli Lilly are with her. They are the team for her to live forward with the disease. Her grandchild learns what he can do for her, her daughter cooks a box lunch for the patient, and her doctors study the treatment day and night. She gradually becomes aware of the strong bond with them. And the bond finally brings the patient to regain the strength of living with hope, from despair of lung cancer toward the positive treatment. The team wants patients to live their own lives even when they have lung cancer. The lyrics of animation speak for the common feelings of all people who support lung cancer patients, just like 'Anthem' with the same passion.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

The zinnia flower, which holds a meaning of “bonds” in the Japanese floral language, appears in all scenes as Lilly’s passion for patients.

Tell the jury about the creation of the original music, choice of music track or about the elements of sound design.

There are songs loved by many of Japanese people. People see themselves in the music and lyrics. The story is unfolded along with the lyrics of the Japanese famous song “RURIIRO NO CHIKYU (True Colored Earth)”. The theme of the lyrics is ‘Resolution for hope’ which has encouraged a number of Japanese people for a long time. This animation transforms the famous song into a new token of common passion for patients among doctors and Eli Lilly in the lung cancer treatment.
