Write a short summary of what happens in the film

A woman returns home and settles in the sofa to enjoy the deeply relaxing effects of a Natural Gas fireplace. As the relaxation takes over her body, our voiceover says, ‘Natural Gas makes the fire that does more than instantly warm your home. The ambiance of a blazing Natural Gas Fire is sublimely and deeply relaxing.’ The woman then begins to slowly melt and flow off the sofa, due to her relaxed state. To finish, her dog enters the room and starts licking the puddle the woman’s now become. Although, she’s too relaxed to be worried. Our film ends with our logo and our voiceover saying ‘Natural Gas. Once you’ve got it, you’ll get it’.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

In Australia, gas prices have risen over the years, meaning that there are little rational benefits of choosing gas over other energy options available. At the same time, electricity powered appliances have become more efficient and have improved in features. This has meant that gas is no longer top of mind as an energy source in many Australian homes.
