Write a short summary of what happens in the film

We open with a photograph of a mother and her daughter, Martha, and slowly the film transforms into animation. We see the mother-daughter dynamics: Martha tried to be helpful but the tough mother seemed to never needed her help. One night, Martha woke up and found the house was flooded. She rushed to her Mom's room and found her Mom who is now disabled looked terrified. Immediately Martha took her out of the house. Amidst the chaos and confusion in finding the right shelter, Martha thought of evacuating to a hotel nearby. With the pay with cash at hotel feature, she's able to secure a room without the complications of online transaction in the middle of the night. The two can finally find the refuge they needed, and for the first time, Martha felt really helpful for her mom. The film transforms to live shoot with real Martha reminiscing.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

For social-media loving Indonesians, travel photographs are important souvenirs that captured the memorable moment. But what about the moments that the camera didn't capture–moments that could've made the journey didn't happen? We used that as our starting point in developing this story: a seemingly normal photograph of Martha's mom sleeping in a hotel room and reveal the unforeseen circumstances behind it. In cash-dependant Indonesia where credit card penetration is very low and mobile banking goes offline around midnight, the ability to pay with cash could be life-saving. Another issue is the fact that the Jakarta municipal government doesn't designate any shelter even though flooding is a perpetual problem. Also worth noting is the fact that ads featuring user testimonial isn't something new in Indonesia. In fact, it's so prevalent that the audience doubts its credibility. We turn to animation instead of reenactments to help the audience suspend their disbelief.
