Write a short summary of what happens in the film

The film is a live-action adaptation of celebrated scenes from "RESET GAME," a smartphone app-based manga read by over 7,500,000 people. The hero of the story, Seiichi, and others are trapped inside a building armed with artificial intelligence. This suspense manga depicts how the characters overcome countless challenges as they attempt to escape confinement. The film opens in a movie-trailer style, and reveals a surprise twist near the end.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

The digitization of manga culture is on the rise. Japan boasts a full-fledged manga culture. Many people enjoy tens of manga apps on a daily basis. Even so, a common mentality is that manga published in magazines are superior to smartphone-based ones. Work being adapted into feature films are limited to those in manga magazines. We needed to clear this bias.
