The documentary records the life of the little league baseball teams and highlights issues concerning rural districts and primary education. The story of the two characters touches the viewers with their perseverance, and their loving relationship with their coach interprets the image of love that transcends blood relations, while people can participate in making the dreams of little league baseball team members come true.
A long-time advocate for social justice, CTBC Bank is conscious of the severe problems caused by grandparenting in rural areas. Many underprivileged children are gifted in sports but lack long-term, stable resources, and therefore lose opportunities to realize their dreams. CTBC Bank noticed that although Taiwanese society regards baseball as national sports and have numbers of fans, but only few resources are used to train little league baseball teams, and most people have no idea about the difficulties they face.
