Emma is tasting Matcha for the first time and wonders: what exacatly is Matcha? Matcha-expert Hiro explains that Matcha is a traditional Japanese tea, where the leaves are processed in a different way than in the West and ground into a fine powder. He also explains that Matcha is used in the Japanese tea ceremony or “Sado”. Sosho Kobori is a master of Japenese tea ceremony and happy to show how the ceremony is done. Emma is impressed and can't wait to try doing a tea ceremony for her family as well. Now Emma feels ready to try making Matcha herself! The accuracy of the information is warranted by the Japan Tea Central Public Interest Incorporated Association and the Japan Tea Export Promotion Council (JTEC).
