The Campaign

A poster with a simple illustration symbolizing situations in which love turns into violence. The person on the poster has been rendered with an expressionless face and could be anyone: a man, woman or child. The red cheeks in the upper illustration express “love”. When “love” distorts a little, the flushed cheeks change into bruised cheeks, as shown in the lower illustration. This indicates “violence”. (In Japan, we use the expression “cheeks turn red” to indicate love.)
