Brief Explanation

To celebrate the all-white AIR FORCE 1's 35th anniversary, we created a special film portraying them as an iconic symbol of self-expression. The film depicts dancer Koharu Sugawara deeply immersed in her creative process, giving viewers an intense, intimate view into her world. The sight of Koharu expressing her individuality through dance, facing all obstacles with strong determination, is juxtaposed with the pair of AIR FORCE 1s on her feet - representing the act of wearing the sneakers as a bold expression of one's way of life.

Dancer Koharu Sugawara, her pursuit of self-expression through dance, and the all-white AIR FORCE 1's are vividly projected onto a stark, monochrome world. Shot from various close angles in 4:3 to give viewers an intimate look into her inner psyche, with a rhythmic hand-clapping score to accompany her immersive dance routine, the film conveys powerful passion and determination.
