Brief Explanation

One day, two friends, Kato and Nomura, are hanging out as usual. Suddenly, Kato says something unbelievable: “I’m actually eternally young and immortal”. When Nomura asks what he means, Kato begins telling various stories. He says that he saw the arrival of Commodore Perry with his own eyes. When he shows Nomura an image on his phone depicting the event, sure enough, there’s someone who looks exactly like Kato. He also says he participated in the Battle of Sekigahara on horseback and that he was the model for the clay figures of the Jomon Period. He certainly does bear a resemblance. Hearing all of this, Nomura shouts “Awesome!”, but Kato has taken on a different expression. He says that even when you’re eternally young and immortal, you can still encounter all sorts of diseases and injuries. “But you don’t have to worry about that…” he says, “because now there’s Aflac”.
