At the onset is a small house on top of a hill in rural SriLanka, it’s early morning. A young mother walks out of the house, followed by 3 small-children. She runs down the hill with her bag full of carpets, desperate to catch the morning bus ride to town. She misses the bus. But her children jubilantly join her as they get to spend a few more minutes with their mom. Time laps – shows her returning home as the sun sets in. She has with a bag of groceries filed with essentials for the house. The children come running down the hill to meet her. But they are dismayed and do not understand why she had to leave them alone to go to town. Stroking their heads with love, the last frame shows her walking up the hill with 3 joyous-children and a conquered expression on her face.
