In each ad, a person is sitting in a restaurant. We see their faces turn from casual to pure excitement when they realize the benefits of the service Quandoo can provide.
The pack shot is created solely with a regular jib crane in a single lift managed by two people including focus puller. This shot would usually require a dolly on tracks with multiple hands at the task. Also, we shot the ads in 300 FPS on a Phantom Flex 4K. Therefore, we could not use practical lights in the background of the actors because it would create a flickering effect in the camera. Instead, we used balls of tinfoil to reflect the Tungsten lights we used for the main lighting of the scene.
