In each ad, a person is sitting in a restaurant. We see their faces turn from casual to pure excitement when they realise the benefits of the service Quandoo can provide.
The casting process for our Quandoo project took roughly 4 weeks - the casting brief was extremely broad, with our age range going up to 55 years of age and invited talents of every race. We held casting calls and invited people of all walks of life to take part - and it was a nice surprise to have a wide range - from housewives and bankers, to students and professional models. The Quandoo commercial was shot in slow-motion, so we did just that during the casting process - shooting our talents with a special slow-motion camera and directing them to show a wide range of emotions. The most challenging aspect was choosing just one talent for the commercial - we ended up choosing four, which turned out great for our campaign that did much better than expected, all thanks to our broad casting brief.
