In partnership with the 29th Southeast Asian Games, we created a brand film that positions Prudential as the “Proud Supporter of Dreams”. By employing visuals and themes that resonate with today’s generation of dreamers, we recreated the torch run – a significant event during the games. The flame of the torch symbolises dreams. It is carried and protected by a torchbearer that represents Prudential. In this film, the torchbearer overcomes the twists and turns of life’s journey, while keeping the flame of the torch alight.
Watching this film, you will be able to tell that this was an incredibly technical shoot. Knowing your angles, mastering the sequences, coordinating the stunts, building the props, securing locations ; all these had to be completed at the pre production stage. Imagine doing all this in space of only 3 weeks. Among other things, the team also built a 20ft monster in the span of two weeks, only for them to burn it down in minutes during the shoot. These were all done with a limited budget. However, understanding the board, many parties pulled favours to allow this film to come to life, and we are proud of the results.
