In partnership with the 29th Southeast Asian Games, we created a brand film that positions Prudential as the “Proud Supporter of Dreams”. By employing visuals and themes that resonate with today’s generation of dreamers, we recreated the torch run – a significant event during the games. The flame of the torch symbolises dreams. It is carried and protected by a torchbearer that represents Prudential. In this film, the torchbearer overcomes the twists and turns of life’s journey, while keeping the flame of the torch alight.
In terms of direction, we wanted to create something epic and memorable. Hence, we created a film packed with action sequences while having memorable locations and art direction to compliment the action sequences. You will be able to note the many high rise buildings that we used in the film, overseeing the city of Kuala Lumpur. These locations were chosen specifically for the grand views it provided. You would also be able to note the larger than life monster that was created from scratch specifically for this film. The results of these choices are clear. A film that was very well received and stunned audiences across the board.
