Brief Explanation

A sound artist Shinya Kiyokawa put a craftsmen team together called “CONSTRUCTION TOOLS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA” which performs Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 by construction tools. In everyday life, the sound made by construction tools such as chainsaws, electric drills, measuring tapes, and hammers is considered loud and annoying. In this film, skilled craftsmen transform them into a melody. If you listen carefully, you will realize that Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 is played. At first, craftsmen seem to cut or assemble wood randomly. Then they gradually start to form a thing which turns out to be the logo of TEAM SUSTINA. In the end, craftsmen clean up the mess before they leave as it is a part of activities to tidy up after themselves at work.
