In order to create “The live broadcasting video” which is an imaginary game named “Uji city”, we created the game from the beginning in actuality. We did a research on the history and culture of Uji city, and reflected it to the stage, characters, and items. We ended up making 4 stages and more than 30 characters in total. Regardless the long durations of the film is over twenty minutes, the series grand total number of views exceeded 510,000 times.
We did a thoroughgoing research, and had been taken in the attractions of Uji city as elements in the game. We drew the pixel art of the stages appearing in the game to a dot picture from real local photographs all. Everything in the game such as the enemy characters, stone sculpture, foods and flowers are based on an existing local specialty goods and items associated with Uji city. A guide who is introducing an attraction of Uji city on the way to the stage is an actual tourist volunteer.
