Do children believe it if salmon fillets are swimming? Fish has been playing a very important role in Japanese culture. But, fish-eating habit and interest in fish has been declining. There even are rumors that urban children believe salmon is swimming in the shape of fillets. We developed robotic salmon fillets and experimented to get to the bottom of this urban legend. This is a social experiment done at an aquarium in Japan to promote an upcoming TV program learning about fish.
