The Campaign

We promote the beauty of Indonesia through a series of crafted packaging that can turn unused coins into a memorable souvenir

Creative Execution

Last-Minute Souvenir brings to life these stories through detailed illustrations. Each illustration then crafted into a series of packaging that’s specially designed to feature the coin. Tourist can easily insert their unused coin into the packaging and instantly it becomes a memorable souvenir.

Results

We placed Last-Minute Souvenir at strategically placed pick-up points around Soekarno Hatta, the biggest international airport in Indonesia with more than 750,000 travellers passing through every month. During the campaign period, thousands of tourists took the souvenir. Angkasa Pura and Indonesia government are planning to reproduce The Last-Minute Sovenir and placing it all around international airports in Indonesia. Last-Minute Souvenir help tourists to get free souvenirs and they help us to promote Indonesia tourism.

Last-Minute Souvenir got thousands of direct responses during the campaign period. Tourists took the souvenir and as they shared it to their loved ones, they also promoted the beauty of Indonesia.

5.33 millions of overseas tourists visit Indonesia each year. They bring back not only unforgettable memories but also unused coins. The coins are usually forgotten, wasted or thrown away. They didn’t realize that each coin has a unique story about the culture of Indonesia. Based on those facts, we turned the unused coins into a communication media that can promote the beauty of Indonesia.
