We conceived of the idea of creating the world’s highest show apartment.
Blue Mountain constructed the world’s highest show apartment to the most luxurious of standards. Each room in the 3-bedroom apartment not only showcased glittering views of the ocean but were also exquisitely appointed, giving visitors a chance to experience the total package.
By building this show apartment before even breaking ground on the actual towers, the results were staggering. Within 10 days of the launch, Blue Mountain had received over 4,000 inquiries, handled over 700 visits, and sold 166 apartments – resulting in Rs. 8.3 billion of sales. This is a record in Sri Lanka’s real estate industry.
The lowest residential floor in Blue Mountain’s upcoming luxury apartment project would be the 10th floor. So, we built the world’s highest show apartment 10 stories high. This meant that visitors to the show apartment would experience the lowest view on offer when the luxury apartment project was eventually built. In other words, visitors who ultimately bought a luxury apartment unit were assured of getting an equivalent view of the Indian Ocean, or better.
