The Campaign

We have asked the challenged athletes of Special Olympics Nippon Tokyo to donate their shoelaces. We have then used the shoelaces to weave a poster. We have embedded a QR code into the woven poster, which when captured, reveals the athletes activities as well as information regarding volunteer observation and visiting tours.

Creative Execution

Placed the poster in sports venues and nearby train stations where pro-league matches are held.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

Collected over 300 shoelaces from more than 130 athletes. The site recorded over 1000 access in only 3 weeks of exposure. Volunteer inquiries counted over 3 times from the previous year.
