Execution

Stephanie’s(12, Houston, TX) dad is an astronaut who is aboard the ISS for the next 7 months. Hyundai Motor Company wanted to help Stephanie show her dad in space how much she missed him, and loved him. Hyundai recreated Stephanie’s message on earth in a size so big that it can be seen by her dad in space. At Delamar Dry Lake, Nevada, over a span of 2 weeks, a total of 11 Hyundai Genesis were used to create 30m wide letters. The full message covered an area of 5.55km- almost twice the size of Central Park, NY. Stephanie’s message was seen by her dad on the ISS. He personally took a photo of the message and shared it with Stephanie. The message was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records as “The Largest Tire Track Image in the World.”
