Execution

The Green Cross Kinetic Energy shoe was developed to solve a real problem in Vietnam and help solve a brand problem of lack of awareness for Green Cross. Roadshows were and are ongoing around schools in Vietnam. At each school or town hall meetings kids see the Kinetic Energy shoes and get the opportunity to wear them. Selected kids are given the shoes to trial and keep. The shoes draw a lot of attention and the kids chosen to trial them are proud to show them off. These ambient demonstrations are taking place at hard for marketers to reach rural areas. So as the kids wear the shoes around they are seen, talked about and generating PR. These trials are also research for mass development of the shoes but also mass publicity and awareness of the issue, the Green Cross brand and the purpose.
