The Brief

In big cities in China, people live a very fast-paced life, therefore it is very important for them to utilize fragmented time well. The technology was developed based on the insight to utilize the time people spent on public transport. Most passengers kill that time by looking at their mobile phones and we wish to offer them another screen to look at, yet to interact with. It is also great if the screen tells you your health condition at the same time. The technology is mature, and the market is blank at this stage.

The goal is to create a new smart system that cares for people's health conditions and bring warmth to user's life. For our campaign, 6000 rings were installed on 200 buses in Beijing that run from morning to evening rush hours. 350000 people were involved in the project and the topic was forwarded for a total of more than 300000 times. The campaign was widely reported by major local media.

The monitor on the smart handles tells user their health indexes and push the info onto user’s mobile phones via a matching App. The technology has been around, we just found a new way to implement it into practical uses. The next step of this technology would be finding new ways of power supply. With the coming of wireless recharging technology, the smart handles can employ new ways of power supply, therefore it can be used in more scenarios and bring benefits to more users.
