RYOBI HYBRID LINE TRIMMER TVC In dramatic slow motion, a line trimmer cuts a deadly swathe through a micro-forest of dandelions. Stalks and spores and petals fly through the air as the trimmer travels mercilessly forward. Suddenly we focus on a lone dandelion standing awaiting its fate. The trimmer’s line inches towards it but just as it’s about to slice through the dandelion’s trembling stem, the trimmer stops abruptly as its power cord reaches it full length. A reprieve! But before we can even breathe a sigh of relief for the fortunate flower, the line trimmer’s owner detaches the cord, slams a battery into the machine and mows the dandelion down. A slightly brutal, but very effective, demonstration of the benefits of the trimmer’s hybrid power options.
