Students looking for jobs consider heavy industry as working with heavy machinery and the companies, conservative. That’s why we want to change their perspective and give heavy industry a bright edgy image to boost youngster’s likeability.
We wanted to show how IHI contributes to all types of business around the world by using only the IHI logo. Development of cities, bridges and airplanes made possible with IHI technologies are represented by Earth’s nature; “Land”, “Ocean” and “Sky” while each headline portrays the vision of IHI; “Better living: Made by IHI”, “100 years of safety: Made by IHI” and “Freedom of the skies: Made by IHI”.
Transit ads, newspaper, TVC, bus wraps and websites engaged people and created buzz. Awareness and interest in Heavy Industry jumped among students looking for jobs.
