Fashionable clothes donated to the Red Cross were made ready for selling through a process that involved sorting, washing and styling. At the two-day Aid Couture pop-up store event that took place in the middle of a busy mall, design details reminded customers of how their purchase converted into aid for Typhoon Haiyan victims. Sale posters with a twist were displayed around the venue. Price tags and receipts showed life essential equivalents. There was a real-time sales tracker on-site and online that showed how every purchase counted.
